Kerry Anderson 
Educational Director

Kerry is a dedicated and passionate educator with over 25 years of experience in the field of education. She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Mount Saint Mary’s University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her classroom experience spans decades teaching kindergarten and first grade at The Torah School of Greater Washington in Maryland, as well as third, fourth grades in the Virginia public school system. Kerry joined the Hebrew Academy of Tampa Bay family in 2024 as our beloved Infant/Toddler teacher and quickly joined the administrative team. This year, she proudly steps into the role of Educational Director, bringing with her a wealth of classroom knowledge, leadership skills, and a deep commitment to student growth and teacher development.

Kerry is excited to expand her impact by supporting fellow educators, guiding curriculum development, and fostering a nurturing, collaborative school environment. She is dedicated to ensuring that every child feels valued, understood, and inspired to reach their full potential.

When she’s not immersed in her work at school, Kerry enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs and family exploring nature, and traveling the world. She looks forward to building strong partnerships with families and staff at the Hebrew Academy to support every child’s unique learning journey.
