Sulha Dubrowski
Head of School
Sulha Dubrowski, born in Detroit, Michigan, comes to education quite naturally as her parents held a variety of Rabbinical and educational administrative positions across the country. After graduating from the Beth Rivka Teacher’s College in Israel, Sulha began her career in Jewish education teaching in New York. Sulha moved to Tampa in 1983, along with her husband, Rabbi Yossie Dubrowski and their three-week-old son, and began implementing various outreach programs for adults, as well as children, enhancing the Jewish community.
In 1986, with a love for Judaism and education, Sulha Dubrowski founded the Hebrew Academy Tampa Bay. Sulha holds a masters in Montessori leadership and continues to spearhead HATB’s growth and development in its new custom designed and expanded Montessori facility. Rabbi and Sulha are proud parents of five children and many grandchildren.
