Alaina Olmstead
Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher
Alaina's journey in education began in 2011, when she began her training in the Montessori method of education. She received her full Early Childhood credential in 2013, continuing in "Children's House" classrooms, teaching children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years, through the fall of 2015. She then went back to school to finish her Bachelor's degree. Upon completing her degree, she then trained and worked as a school nurse aide for the public school system. She went back to teaching in 2020, as part of a group of teachers opening a new wing at Nationwide Children's Hospital Child Care Center, caring for and teaching infants and toddlers between the ages of 6 weeks and 2 years. She believe that teaching the toddler room at HATB will provide her with the opportunity to combine all of her teaching experience thus far. Her goal as a teacher has always been to meet each individual child where they are, nurture their curiosity, and to introduce them to the love of learning.
